A b o u t   u s   The company “Mokslo ir technikos rūmai” (“Palace of science and technology”) has been established in 1991. It is located in the former Franciscan abbey, which is one of Lithuanian cultural monuments. The palace takes the whole square of the old city of Vilnius. The streets of Trakai, Pranciskonai, Lyda and Kedainiai limit it. A short time ago these buildings were shabby and decrepit. A big part of the buildings has been restored and renovated. The area of restored and usable premise is more than 4000m2. While restoring the palace all authentic details were retained. All work was done according to the projects of Monuments design and restoring institute. In the palace there are unique and luxurious premise, which is usable for work. The remaining part of the palace is waiting for restoration. It can be used for two halls, some offices or hotel rooms. The company “Mokslo technikos rumai” suggests Lithuanian or foreign companies to invest in one of the greatest palace of the old city of Vilnius. Well-known Lithuanian and foreign companies take up their adobe in the palace of science and technology. They successfully work and make good influence on economical, cultural, technological development of Lithuania. For almost ten years there proceed exhibitions of famous professional painters, folk artists, students and their teachers. The palace is equipped with fire and security signal. There is a protected parking lot outside. Also there is a guesthouse „Šauni vietelė” with café, ballroom and sauna as well.
